·What is EPS
EPS is the abbreviation for Emergency Power Supply. EPS basic working principle is similar to the back-up type UPS or inverters, that is, when the mains power is normal, the electricity passes through the EPS directly to the load; when mains power fails, EPS inverter switches to battery power supply to the load. The difference is: EPS steps up its monitoring of the load output and battery test function, requires for sinusoidal output waveform, and the EPS must be designed to meet the special requirements of fire service industry.
