This is a kind of overload protection for power supply. The UPS's internal charger normally have this function in order to avoid the damage of battery produced by excessive charging current, but the UPS output is less use of this function, when overload occurs it will turn bypass or shut down. The current limiting means that when the load current exceeds a certain set value, it will restrict the size of the load current.
